On February 19, 2025, Essex Property Trust, Inc.’s (NYSE: ESS) operating partnership, Essex Portfolio, L.P. closed an underwritten public offering of US$400 million 5.375% senior notes due 2035.
Latham & Watkins LLP represented Essex in the offering with a capital markets team led by Washington, D.C./New York partner Abigail Smith and Century City partner Brent Epstein, with associates Grace Garcea, Rachel Staub, and Dylan Shamoon.
