Latham Advises Nymcard on US$33 Million Series B Fundraising

Latham & Watkins has advised Nymcard, the only embedded finance platform operating across 10+ countries in MENA, on its US$33 million Series B financing round.

The additional funds will be used by NymCard to deepen its presence across 10+ markets in MENA, and to strengthen its payment infrastructure solutions to better serve banks, enterprises, fintechs, telecom providers, and more across its three core verticals: card issuing processing, embedded lending, and money movement.

The round was led by QED Investors, with participation from existing investors including Lunate, Dubai Future District Fund, Mashreq Bank, Knollwood, Reciprocal, FJLabs, Shorooq, and Endeavor, and new investor Oraseya Capital.

The Latham team was led by Dubai partners Eyad Latif and Omar Maayeh, with associates Stephanie Dang and Rehab Ahmed Abdelwahab.
