Latham & Watkins Advises Cartesia in US$64 Million Series A

Firm advises the AI-powered voice generation platform in funding round to advance its development.

Cartesia, a company specializing in real-time AI-driven voice technology, has raised US$64 million in a Series A funding round led by Kleiner Perkins. The funding will accelerate research, expand the team, and refine Sonic 2.0, its latest voice model, which boasts industry-leading latency and voice cloning capabilities.

Latham & Watkins LLP represents Cartesia in the funding with an Emerging Companies & Growth team led by Bay Area partner Seth Gottlieb, with associates Eric Znotins and Ryleigh Chen.
