Latham & Watkins Advises FIS in US$24.2 Billion Sale of Worldpay by FIS and GTCR to Global Payments and US$13.5 Billion Acquisition of Global Payments’ Issuer Solutions Business
FIS® (NYSE: FIS) (the Company), a global leader in financial technology, announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to sell its stake in Worldpay in conjunction with GTCR to Global Payments for US$24.2 billion. Concurrently, FIS has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire 100% of Global Payments’ (NYSE: GPN) Issuer Solutions business for an enterprise value of US$13.5 billion.
