Chicago Partner Named to Crain’s 2024 Nonprofit Board Leaders List
Chicago litigation partner Matt Walch has been named to the 2024 Nonprofit Board Leaders List by Crain’s Chicago Business. This list recognizes 81 business leaders who lend their professional skills and connections to champion nonprofit missions and enrich communities in Chicago.
Matt serves as the national board chair for Prevent Child Abuse America, a nonprofit organization founded in 1972 in Chicago. Its mission is to prevent the abuse and neglect of our nation’s children and ensure the healthy development of children nationwide.
As stated in his Crain’s profile, Matt has served as a leader on the board of Prevent Child Abuse America for nearly a decade, chairing the board for the last four years. During his tenure, he has worked to strengthen the governance and national visibility of the organization, foster relationships with other chapters, and secure pro bono services and funding. In his ongoing efforts to support his local community, Matt mentors new board members and also chairs the board of the Legal Aid Society and serves on the board of Metropolitan Family Services.
