David Ziyambi Named to Empower Role Models List 2024

David Ziyambi, a partner at Latham & Watkins in London and Vice-Chair of the firm’s Africa Practice, has been named to the Empower Top 100 Executives List for the third consecutive year. This recognition celebrates his significant contributions to increasing representation and driving inclusion within the legal industry and the wider business community.

The publication commended Ziyambi for pioneering initiatives focused on recruiting, retaining, and advancing Black lawyers; actively mentoring minority students and young lawyers, emphasizing the importance of skill development and goal setting; for his trustee positions with organizations like the BIGKID Foundation, where he supports at-risk youth in the UK; and his pro bono work, including assisting individuals with the Windrush Compensation Scheme and advising Black-owned businesses.
