Financial News Names London Partner in List of Rising Stars in European Finance

Tracy Liu, a partner in Latham’s London office, has been named to Financial News’ Rising Stars in European Finance 2025 list. The list highlights “the most talented individuals under the age of 40 working in financial and professional services,” and candidates are assessed based on their career progression and achievements to date, the standings of their team and company in the market, the statures of their mentors, and their ability to rise to the top.

Financial News notes that Liu works with some of the world’s biggest financial institutions on a variety of transactions and was notably part of the Latham team that advised a group of banks, including JPMorgan and Goldman Sachs, in connection with financing for Walgreens Boots Alliance’s acquisition by Sycamore Partners. This acquisition, announced in early March, is one of the largest ever healthcare leveraged buyouts in the US and Europe.
