Firm Named as Leading Foreign Law Firm for Korean Work

Asia Business Law Journal has honored Latham & Watkins as Best Foreign Law Firm for Korea-related work in its inaugural Korea Law Firm Awards. 

This newly launched award series recognizes the leading law firms in Korea and Latham was selected as one of four equal winners in the category for international law firms operating in the market. Asia Business Law Journal noted that the firm advises multinational companies from the major financial hubs in the region, and how Latham lawyers “collaborate through the law firm’s global platform to deliver services for clients worldwide”.

According to Asia Business Law Journal, the awards program is based on “votes, references and qualitative information received from in-house counsel and other legal professionals in Korea and around the world”, alongside independent research conducted by the Asia Business Law Journal editorial team. 

This accolade follows the recent Asian Legal Business Korea Law Awards 2021 in which two deals Latham advised on were also honored as Equity Market Deal of the Year and Technology, Media and Telecommunications Deal of the Year.
