German Private Equity Partner Named Among Financial News’ Rising Stars

Latham Frankfurt partner Maximilian Platzer has been named among Financial News’ Rising Stars of Legal Services 2023. The ranking highlights 25 talented European lawyers, under the age of 40, who advise corporates on M&A, capital markets, fundraising, and private equity transactions.

Financial News distinguished Mr. Platzer as “a key dealmaker in the German market,” noting his work on “mid- and large-cap software, technology and technology enabled business deals” and high volume of M&A transactions. The publication also highlighted Mr. Platzer’s advice to Astorg on the US$2.6 billion acquisition of CordenPharma, and Hg on its sales of MEDIFOX DAN for US$1 billion and Transporeon for €l.9 billion.
