Latham Advises Apollo on €300 Million ABB on Lottomatica Group’s Shares
Latham & Watkins has advised Gamma Intermediate S.à r.l. (a company incorporated on behalf of funds managed by Apollo Management IX, L.P.), in the sale through an accelerated bookbuilding of 24 million ordinary shares of Lottomatica Group S.p.A. at a price of €12.50 per share. The total gross proceeds correspond to €300 million.
The Latham team was led by Milan partner Antonio Coletti with counsel Guido Bartolomei. Advice was also provided on US matters by London partner Ryan Benedict and associate Irene Pistotnik; and on finance matters by London partner Jeremy Green.
Barclays Bank PLC, Deutsche Bank AG, Goldman Sachs International, and J.P. Morgan acted as joint global coordinators and joint bookrunners. Apollo Capital Solutions, BNP PARIBAS, and UniCredit acted as joint bookrunners. BTIG and Siebert acted as co-managers.
