Latham Advises Diversified Gas & Oil on LSE Premium Listing
Latham & Watkins is advising Diversified Gas & Oil PLC (DGO) on its move from AIM to trade on the London Stock Exchange’s Main Market. Admission is to be effected through a listing of all its shares on the Premium Segment of the Main Market. DGO will be the first new entrant to the Premium Segment of the Main Market of the LSE since the start of the current COVID-19 pandemic.
Since its listing on AIM in 2017, DGO has completed nearly US$1.5 billion of value-accretive acquisitions to establish itself as one of the largest independent producers listed in London. Latham also advised Diversified Gas & Oil on its recent US$86 million share issue undertaken to fund further potential acquisitions.
Latham fielded a cross-border team leveraging the firm’s market-leading oil and gas industry expertise. The team was led from London by corporate partner James Inness, with associates Koushik Prasad, Shaun Musuka, Tom Channing, and Sarah Youssefi, and US securities law partner Ryan Benedict. Advice on US law matters was provided by Houston corporate partners Jeff Munoz and David Miller and New York tax partner Bora Bozkurt.
