Latham Advises on Financing to Support Advent International and BCI’s Completed US$6.4 Billion Take-Private Acquisition of Maxar Technologies

Advent International, a leading global investment firm, alongside minority investor British Columbia Investment Management Corporation (BCI), completed on May 3, 2023, the take-private acquisition of Maxar Technologies, a provider of comprehensive space solutions and secure, precise, geospatial intelligence, in an all-cash transaction that values Maxar at an enterprise value of approximately US$6.4 billion.

Latham & Watkins LLP represented certain of the preferred equity investors to support the transaction with a New York team led by capital markets partners Stelios Saffos, Peter Sluka, Senet Bischoff, and Andrew Blumenthal, with associate Adam Weber.
