Latham Advises HARPS on Acquisition of Semperit’s Medical Business

A cross-border, multidisciplinary deal team advises on €115 million deal to acquire surgical and examination gloves manufacturer.

Latham & Watkins has advised HARPS Global Pte. Ltd., a Southeast Asian medical glove producer, on the acquisition of Semperit AG Holding’s medical business, Sempermed. The completion of the transaction is subject to the approval of the competent authorities; it is expected for the second quarter of 2023. The sale price (cash and debt free) is €115 million and is subject to customary price adjustment mechanisms upon completion of the transaction.
