Latham Advises Ola Electric on Its US$730 Million IPO in India
Latham & Watkins has advised Ola Electric, India's leading manufacturer of electric vehicles (EVs), on its US$730 million initial public offering (IPO) on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE). The IPO represents the first by an electric vehicle maker in India and the country's biggest this year.
The Latham team was led by Singapore partner Rajiv Gupta, with associates Sirada Chayabunjonglerd, Esha Goel, and Chaitrika Bellana. Advice was also provided on tax matters by Chicago partner Enrique Rene de Vera.
