Latham Advises on Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank’s US$2 Billion and £500 Million Bond Offerings

Latham & Watkins has simultaneously advised the underwriters on two offerings by Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) to kickstart the new year. The first, an issuance of US$2 billion 4.500% notes due 2030 marked AIIB’s seventh consecutive year as an issuer in the US dollar market, raising over US$27 billion. The second was an issuance of £500 million 4.375% senior notes due 2029.
