Latham Advises on Financing for EQT’s Acquisition of Majority Stake in Eutelsat’s Satellite Ground Station Infrastructure Business
Latham & Watkins has advised the lenders on the financing for EQT Infrastructure VI fund’s exclusive negotiations to acquire a majority stake in Eutelsat’s Satellite Ground Station Infrastructure Business from Eutelsat.
The Ground Station Business consists of approximately 1,400 antennas across more than 100 locations globally, enabling satellite communications for Eutelsat Group, OneWeb, and other third-party customers.
The Latham team was led by London finance partner Jonathan Brownson and counsel Misa Schmiederova, with associate Cedric Oulai. Advice on French law aspects was provided by Paris associates Aurélien Lorenzi, Matthieu Herviaux, and Hugo Rivière; and on tax matters by Paris partner Xavier Renard, with associate Andréa Stapts.
