Latham Advises on Ventive Hospitality’s US$187.1 Million IPO

Cross-border team represents bookrunning lead managers in listing of Blackstone and Panchshil-backed hospitality company.

Latham & Watkins acted as sole international counsel on Ventive Hospitality’s US$187.1 million initial public offering on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE). JM Financial Limited, Axis Capital Limited, HSBC Securities and Capital Markets (India) Private Limited, ICICI Securities Limited, IIFL Capital Services Limited, Kotak Mahindra Capital Company Limited, and SBI Capital Markets Limited served as the book running lead managers for the IPO. 

The Latham team was led by Singapore partner Rajiv Gupta, with Singapore associates Kelly Teoh and Esha Goel, Hong Kong associate Eunice Chan, and Singapore foreign legal consultant Mara Recto. Advice was also provided on tax matters by Chicago partner Enrique Rene de Vera, New York partner Jiyeon Lee-Lim, and Chicago associate Jay Khurana; and on Investment Company Act matters by Boston counsel Joel Cavanaugh.
