Hollywood trade publication Variety has honored six attorneys in Latham’s Entertainment, Sports & Media (ESM) Practice in its annual Dealmakers Impact Report, spotlighting the industry’s brightest negotiators. Partners Nancy Bruington, Justin Hamill, Kendall Johnson, Rick Offsay, Liliana Ranger, and Jonathan West are profiled for their lead strategic roles advising clients on a full spectrum of film, television, music, and content-related business transactions.
Justin Hamill, Global Co-Chair of Latham’s Mergers & Acquisitions Practice and Rick Offsay, Global Co-Chair of Latham’s Entertainment, Sports & Media Practice are recognized for tackling complex strategic transactions, including advising Skydance Media in its merger with Paramount.
Century City partners Nancy Bruington, Kendall Johnson, Liliana Ranger, and Jonathan West are recognized for a variety of strategic transactions across the industry including advising Shamrock in its acquisition of a film, television, and music portfolio from Vine Alternative Investments Group; Blumhouse in its acquisition of Atomic Monster; KKR in its sale of Chord Music Partners; and Brittney Griner in an exclusive life rights and producing agreement with ESPN and ABC.
