Latham Honored As 2021 Champion for Children

Latham & Watkins has been named a 2021 Champion for Children by Children’s Law Center (CLC). This record-making win marks the firm’s fifth consecutive and seventh overall win, maintaining Latham’s status as the most awarded firm in Champions for Children history.

The annual award recognizes the philanthropy of law firms and corporations whose total 2021 annual giving to CLC exceeded that of their peers. The Champions for Children Campaign is led by CLC’s Advisory Board as well as its Board of Directors, on which Latham counsel Liz Park and partner Manu Gayatrinath sit.

CLC is Washington, D.C.’s largest nonprofit legal services provider, and fights so every child in the District can grow up with a stable family, good health, and a quality education. Today, the organization reaches one out of every nine children in D.C.’s poorest neighborhoods — assisting 4,000 children and families last year alone.
