Latham’s Latin America Practice Honored as M&A Legal Adviser of the Year

These honors highlight excellence in legal advisory and transformative transactions across the Latin American and Caribbean markets, with a rigorous selection process evaluating deal size, duration, structure, distribution, and the borrower's background and financing accessibility.
The award-winning deals include:
- Project Finance Loan Deal of the Year and Natural Resources Finance Deal of the Year — Centinela Project: Latham represented Almar Water Solutions and Transelec, acting through two separate consortiums as project sponsors and operators, on the approximately US$1.5 billion brownfield and greenfield project.
- ESG Loan Deal of the Year — EdgeConneX's Financing: Latham advised Ares Management in connection with on EdgeConneX's US$1.5 billion sustainability-linked financings.
- Private Equity Deal of the Year — EBECP / GIP Helios II S.A. Transaction: Latham advised GIP Helios II S.A. on the US$646 million sale of renewable assets to Engie Brasil Energia Complementares Participações Ltda. (EBECP).
- Project Bond Deal of the Year — Yinson Boronia Production B.V.: Latham advised the global coordinators, joint bookrunners, and co-managers on Yinson Boronia Production B.V.’s 144A/Reg S offering of its US$1.035 billion 8.947% Senior Secured Notes Due 2042.
