Latham Named IP Transactions Firm of the Year

Latham has been named the IP Transactions Firm of the Year by Managing IP for standing out among its peers as a part of their 2021 Annual Awards program. Managing IP’s awards are “presented to firms, individuals and companies behind the most innovative and challenging IP work of the past year.”

At the digital awards ceremony, Latham was described as “one of the go-to departments for technology deals” and praised for its “numerous representations in the life sciences sector.” In particular, the firm was recognized for representing Astellas Pharma in its partnership with Adaptimmune to co-develop and co-commercialize stem-cell derived allogenic CAR-T and TCR T-Cell therapies for cancer treatment as well as its role in several collaborations in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
