Latham Receives Pro Bono Services Excellence Award

CLIX Hong Kong is a digital portal that bridges legal access gaps by connecting impact organizations, such as nonprofits and social enterprises, in need legal support with lawyers who are willing to provide pro bono assistance. The Hong Kong-based company recently recognized Latham with its Pro Bono Services Excellence Award for being one of the most active firms on the site.

Our Hong Kong office has a longstanding dedication to pro bono. Among its many matters are assisting the Queer Straight Alliance — the largest LGBTQ+ student organization in Hong Kong — with establishing a corporate structure, and collaborating with Justice Centre Hong Kong, a nonprofit and human rights organization working to protect the rights of vulnerable forced migrants and refugees, as well as survivors of torture, human trafficking, and forced labor.
