The firm was honored with the Outstanding Service Award for having donated more than 100 hours in free legal services this year.
Latham & Watkins was recognized by the Legal Aid Society of San Diego (LASSD) with its Outstanding Service Award — an award presented to those that “have gone above and beyond in volunteering for [LASSD], volunteering 100 hours in the year or otherwise providing exceptional service” to LASSD clients and clinic participants.
LASSD is a nonprofit law firm that provides free legal services to lower income San Diego residents. Lawyers from our San Diego and Orange County offices have volunteered with LASSD legal clinics, including assisting self-represented domestic violence, civil harassment, and elder abuse survivors in completing the paperwork and understanding the process to request a restraining order.
