Latham Represents Astorg on Sale of Anaqua to Nordic Capital

A cross-border team advises on the sale and represented Astorg in its original investment in the global IP solutions provider in 2019, the Pan-European private equity firm’s first US investment.

Anaqua, a leading provider of innovation and intellectual property (IP) management technology solutions and services, has announced that Nordic Capital, an experienced private equity investor in technology and payments globally, has entered into exclusive negotiations to acquire a controlling interest in Anaqua from its existing shareholders led by Astorg. As part of this transaction, Nordic Capital would become the controlling shareholder of Anaqua, succeeding Astorg, who has been the primary investor in Anaqua since 2019, and has supported Anaqua’s strong and consistent growth over the past five years.
