Latham & Watkins Advises AMD in Acquisition of Silo AI

Cross-border team represents the NASDAQ-listed semiconductor company in the purchase of Europe’s largest private AI lab.

AMD (NASDAQ: AMD) announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Silo AI, the largest private AI lab in Europe, in an all-cash transaction. The agreement represents another significant step in the company’s strategy to deliver end-to-end AI solutions based on open standards and in strong partnership with the global AI ecosystem. The acquisition is expected to close in the second half of 2024.
