Barnes Group Inc. (NYSE: B) (Barnes), a global provider of highly engineered products, differentiated industrial technologies, and innovative solutions, announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by funds managed by affiliates of Apollo Global Management, Inc. (NYSE: APO) (Apollo) in an all-cash transaction that values Barnes at an enterprise value of approximately US$3.6 billion. Upon completion of the transaction, Barnes will be delisted from the New York Stock Exchange and become a privately held company.
