Latham & Watkins has advised Bain Capital Private Equity in the acquisition of F.I.S. Fabbrica Italiana Sintetici, a manufacturer of chemical products for the pharmaceutical industry, from Nine Trees Group (NTG), the holding company of the Ferrari family, which founded the pharmaceutical company in Montecchio Maggiore in 1957.
Latham & Watkins LLP represented Bain Capital in the transaction with a corporate team led by Milan partner Cataldo Piccarreta with partners Giorgia Lugli and Neil Campbell, and associates Luca Maranetto and Federica Ventura.
