Latham & Watkins Advises on Belvo’s US$43 Million Series A Financing

Belvo, a Latin America startup that has built an open finance API platform, has announced that it has raised US$43 Million in a Series A financing round. The newly raised funds will help Belvo scale and enhance product offering, continue to expand its geographic footprint and increase the size of the team.
Latham & Watkins LLP represents an undisclosed investor on a Series A financing with a team that was led by London partner Mike Turner and Boston partner Spencer Ricks, with New York associates Andrew Modell and Jeremy Exelbert, and Washington, D.C. associate Loyal Horsley. Advice was also provided on data privacy matters by Washington, D.C. partner Jennifer Archie, with Washington, D.C. associates Jimmy Smith and Morgan Brubaker.
