Latham & Watkins Advises Coalesce Capital in US$900 Million Fund Formation
Coalesce Capital, a private equity firm investing in human capital-driven and technology-enabled services companies, has announced the closing of its inaugural fund, Coalesce Capital Fund I LP (the Fund), and parallel vehicles, with US$900 million in total capital commitments. The Fund was oversubscribed and secured investor commitments in nine months, above its original target of US$750 million. Coalesce now has approximately US$1 billion in regulatory assets under management.
Latham & Watkins LLP represented Coalesce in the fund formation with an investment funds team led by New York partners Andrea Schwartzman and Erin Bergey, with associates Gabe Pugel and Victoria Cappucci. Advice was also provided on tax matters by New York partner Gregory Hannibal and New York counsel Lauren Bewley, with associate Nolon Blaylock.
