Latham & Watkins Advises Discord in Acquisition of Gas App
Discord, a voice, video, and text communication service used by over one hundred million people to hang out and talk with their friends and communities, has announced that it has acquired the maker of the Gas app, the popular poll-based social app that lets friends share compliments with one another. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Latham & Watkins LLP represents Discord in the transaction with a corporate deal team led by Bay Area partners Bret Stancil and Benjamin Potter, with associates Amanda Dillon and Alec Hampton.
