Latham & Watkins Advises Entrepreneurial Equity Partners in Raising US$423 Million for Inaugural Fund
Entrepreneurial Equity Partners (e2p), a Chicago-based, control-oriented private equity firm focused on the food and consumer packaged goods industries, has announced that it has closed its inaugural fund, Entrepreneurial Equity Partners I (e2p I of Fund I), with US$423 million in aggregate capital commitments.
Latham & Watkins LLP represented e2p in the capital raise with an investment funds team led by New York partner Andrea Schwartzman, with Chicago associate Matthew Wynne, New York associate Jean Rhodes, and Chicago associate Gabe Pugel. Advice was also provided on tax matters by New York partner Gregory Hannibal; on Investment Advisers Act matters by Chicago partner Laura Ferrell, with Chicago associate Jina Yun; and on ERISA matters by Washington, D.C. partner Adam Kestenbaum.
