Latham & Watkins Advises on Leumi’s NIS2.75 Billion Capital Raising

Capital markets team represents global coordinators on share issuance of leading Israeli bank.
Latham & Watkins has advised Citi, Barclays, and Jefferies as global coordinators and placing agents on Bank Leumi’s NIS2.75 billion capital raising as part of an issuance of shares to Israeli and foreign institutional investors. Leumi's stock price at the issuance was NIS30.25 per share.
The issuance is intended to support Leumi's growth strategy and expand the bank's credit portfolio, mainly in the fields of corporate and commercial credit and mortgages. The raising will also allow the bank to strengthen its capital base.
The Latham team was led by capital markets partners Joshua Kiernan and Ryan Benedict, with associates Gilad Zohari and Adam Deutsch.
