Latham & Watkins Advises on Onex Partners’ Acquisition of Accredited

Onex Corporation (TSX: ONEX) has announced that Onex Partners V has agreed to acquire Accredited, the global program management business of R&Q Insurance Holdings. Accredited is a specialty insurance company operating in North America and Europe that provides underwriting capacity to Managing General Agents with support from the global reinsurance market.

Latham & Watkins advised Onex in the transaction, with a corporate deal team led by Chicago partner Dan Breslin, with Washington, D.C. associate Cierra Warren and Chicago associate Katie Connelly. The insurance deal team was led by London partner Victoria Sander, New York partner Analisa Dillingham, London counsel Tim Scott, and New York counsel Alexander Traum.
