Latham & Watkins Advises Partners Group as a Lead Investor in Trinity Ventures’ US$435 Million Continuation Fund

Multidisciplinary team led by members of the firm’s Investment Funds and M&A Practices represented the global private markets firm in the continuation fund.

Latham & Watkins represented Partners Group, acting on behalf of its clients, as a lead investor in Trinity Ventures’ close of its first multi-asset continuation fund transaction with approximately US$435 million in total commitments, alongside Portfolio Advisors as a lead investor and Goldman Sachs as a co-lead investor.

Partners Group is one of the largest firms in the global private markets industry, serving over 800 institutional investors worldwide. Partners Group has US$149 billion in assets under management and more than 1,800 professionals across 21 offices worldwide.

Trinity Ventures is an early-stage technology venture capital firm that has championed breakthrough founders and startups for over 35 years. The new fund, Trinity Ventures 2024, was formed to recapitalize 15 portfolio companies from Trinity Ventures XI, LP, a 2012 vintage fund, including scaled companies such as BirdEye and Cohesity.

Latham & Watkins LLP advised Partners Group in the transaction led by New York partners Oliver Prakash-Jenkins and Jane Greyf, and counsel Jennifer Wong, with associates Nick McCoy and Lachlan Sievert.
