Latham & Watkins Advises Recurrent Energy in the 100MW Sunflower Solar Project

Sunflower is one of the first utility-scale solar projects to be constructed under a Build Transfer Agreement in the United States.

Canadian Solar Inc. (NASDAQ: CSIQ) has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Recurrent Energy, LLC, recently closed a construction financing totaling over US$146 million for the construction of the 100 MW Sunflower Solar Project located in Sunflower County, Mississippi. The project is being constructed pursuant to a Build Transfer Agreement with Entergy Mississippi.

Latham & Watkins LLP represents Recurrent Energy, LLC on the financing with a project finance team led by San Diego partner Omar Nazif, with associates Joanna Gorska and Claire Bang.
