Latham & Watkins Advises Saw Mill Capital on US$435 Million Fund Formation

Members of the firm’s Investment Funds Practice advised the middle-market private equity firm on its third fund.

Saw Mill Capital, a middle-market private equity firm focused on partnering with North American industrial services, professional services, and engineered products companies, announced the final close of its US$435 million flagship fund Saw Mill Capital Partners III, LP. Fund III's diverse and high-quality investor base includes insurance companies, consultants, public pensions, endowments, family offices, sovereign wealth funds, wealth managers, and funds-of-funds across North America, Europe, and around the globe. Demonstrating its commitment to aligning incentives with investors and management teams, Saw Mill's investment team committed US$50 million to Fund III.

Latham & Watkins LLP advised Saw Mill Capital on the fund formation with an Investment Funds team led by New York partner Beau Brashares, with associate Daniel Sung. New York partner Gregory Hannibal, with associate Arash Lotfi, advised on tax matters, and Washington, D.C. partner Jamie Lynn Walter, with associate Mike Hart-Slattery, advised on fund regulatory matters.
