Latham & Watkins Advises Scale Microgrids on Acquisition by EQT

Multidisciplinary team represents the energy company in its purchase by the global investment organization.

Scale Microgrids (Scale), Warburg Pincus, and EQT announced that EQT Transition Infrastructure has agreed to acquire Scale, a leading vertically integrated developer, acquirer, owner, and operator of microgrids and distributed energy resources for various sectors, from Warburg Pincus and other existing shareholders. The transaction is subject to customary conditions and approvals.

Latham & Watkins LLP represents Scale in the transaction with a corporate deal team led by New York partner Alex Kelly and New York counsel Julian Azran, with Boston partner Stephen Ranere and New York partner Thomas Engelhardt, and with associates Lachlan Sievert, Ebenezer Abaidoo, and Rachel Klein.
