Latham & Watkins Advises SK Capital in Ecopol Investment
Latham & Watkins advised the private equity fund SK Capital Partners LP in signing contracts related to its acquisition of a majority share in Ecopol S.p.A., a leading company in the development and production of innovative biodegradable films.
Mauro Carbone, CEO and controlling shareholder of Ecopol, will keep a significant share of the capital and continue to act as CEO and major individual shareholder. Current minority investor Tikehau Capital will retain a minority stake. The closing of the transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals.
