Latham’s Black Lawyers Group Honored with Diversity Innovation Award

Latham & Watkins has won the Diversity Innovation (Ethnicity Focus) Award at the 2020 Legal Week Innovation Awards, in recognition of the firm’s Black Lawyers Group (BLG). The annual awards celebrate exceptional achievement within the profession and recognize best practices, programs, and innovation in the industry. 

Legal Week commended the outstanding initiatives of Latham’s BLG in support of the long-term success of Black lawyers in the firm, the legal profession, and the wider community. 

Latham’s diversity and inclusion programs have been honored by Legal Week for two consecutive years. The firm received the Diversity Innovation Award in 2019 for its First Generation Professionals Lawyers Group which advocates for and assists first-generation lawyers in their advancement at the firm.
