Leading Dispute Resolution Lawyer and Commercial Litigator To Join Latham & Watkins in Hong Kong
Latham & Watkins LLP is pleased to announce that Dominic Geiser will join the firm’s Hong Kong office as a partner in the Litigation & Trial Department and a member of the Complex Commercial Litigation Practice. Geiser will bring a wealth of expertise advising on a broad range of high-stakes matters for private equity funds, companies, and financial institutions. He is highly respected in the market as an excellent complex commercial litigator and disputes lawyer who is deeply experienced in both courtroom and boardroom settings.
Geiser brings tenacity, drive, and a commercial approach to his broad practice, which spans banking, financial and IPO-related litigation, disputes involving investors, shareholders, joint ventures, equity valuations, and intellectual property, fraud and money laundering claims, insolvency and arbitration-related litigation, as well as securities and regulatory matters. Geiser is among the few Hong Kong litigators to be appointed a Solicitor Advocate, with higher rights of audience in the Hong Kong Court for civil litigation cases.

Geiser will join the firm from Herbert Smith Freehills. He received his law degree from the University of Durham in 2002, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Laws from the University of Hong Kong in 2003. He speaks English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
