Firm Scoops Two US Team of the Year Awards for Antitrust and Environment Practices

Legal 500 has named Latham & Watkins “Antitrust Team of the Year” and “Environment Team of the Year” in the guide’s inaugural US awards. 

In awarding Latham “Antitrust Team of the Year”, the US editor said: “[it] was a tough and competitive category but Latham & Watkins was selected as our winner this year due to its involvement in a number of large, high profile deals, as well as its antitrust litigation capabilities across the US, including strategic B2B litigation and class actions.” 

The firm was also awarded “Environment Team of the Year”, with the US editor commenting: “Latham & Watkins is one of the few firms that actually does a fair amount of the three regulatory, litigation and transactional categories we analyze. It has a huge team, is well respected by peers and efficiently covers the whole US, with offices on both coasts as well as Chicago. It is well positioned to handle new and developing areas such as climate change and renewable energy.”
