Meet Our 2022 Summer Associate Class
Latham & Watkins is pleased to welcome 304 law students as summer associates in the firm’s London, Singapore, and US offices.
During the 10-week, in-person program, running May 23-July 29, the summer associates will meaningfully engage in litigation, corporate, finance, tax, and pro bono matters. They will have opportunities to connect with each other, as well as assigned mentors and senior Latham leaders, during networking and training events. A highlight of the program, Summer Academy, will immerse the summer associates in Latham’s collaborative and collegial culture through training seminars and social events with Latham lawyers.
For the first time in nearly two years, the firm will return to a fully in-person program to best foster the connections and culture of collaboration at the heart of the Latham community.
“This year’s exceptionally diverse class of summer associates showcases incredible talent and drive. With students from all backgrounds and a wide selection of schools, over half of those participating in the summer program identify as a racial or ethnic minority. We are thrilled to bring all of our summer associates’ unique perspectives and ideas to the firm’s business and culture,” said Abid R. Qureshi, Global Chair of Latham’s Recruiting Committee.
