Michele Johnson Honored Among California’s Top Women Lawyers

Global Chair of the Latham’s Litigation & Trial Department, Michele Johnson has been named among the Daily Journal's Top Women Lawyers in California for 2023. The annual feature honors female attorneys at the top of their respective areas of law.

Michele’s profile highlights her leadership of Latham’s now 1,000+ lawyer Litigation & Trial Department in which she’s steering the group’s strategic growth and evolution, along with a series of transformative victories for clients across California and the country, including a class action dismissal for Eargo, following a DOJ settlement, as well as a critical win for Peloton related to post-pandemic demand for its products. As Michele told the Daily Journal, the victory on behalf of the at-home fitness brand was a blueprint for all high-demand-due-to-pandemic securities matters, “These were companies doing their absolute best to plan for demand, to meet demand [and] to provide the customer service and timeliness they had committed to their customers to provide.”
