Restructuring & Special Situations Partner to Be Inducted as Fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy

Ted Dillman recognized for his professional excellence and contributions to the bankruptcy and insolvency practice.

Ted Dillman, a partner in the Los Angeles office and a member of the firm’s Restructuring & Special Situations Practice, will be inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy (ACB). The ACB said in a press release that “the new Fellows are being honored and recognized for their professional excellence and exceptional contributions to the bankruptcy and insolvency practice.” The prestigious College is an honorary public service association of United States and international insolvency professionals who are invited to join as Fellows based on a proven record of the highest standards of expertise, leadership, integrity, professionalism, scholarship, and service to the bankruptcy and insolvency practice and to their communities.

Nominees are invited to join the College based on a sustained record of achievement and are selected by the College’s Board of Regents from recommendations of Circuit Admissions Councils in each federal judicial circuit and Nominating Committees for Judicial and International Fellows.

Dillman, one of 36 Fellows being inducted to the 36th Class of the College, has extensive experience representing debtors, creditors, private equity sponsors, investment funds, and buyers in corporate restructuring, distressed M&A, and out-of-court workouts, as well as special situations finance and corporate matters. He serves as Vice Chair of the firm's Retail & Consumer Products Industry Group as well as on the firm’s Finance and Ethics Committees. He is recognized by Chambers USA for his Bankruptcy/Restructuring work in California and named a 2021 Rising Star in the Bankruptcy industry by Law360. Business Insider also recognized Dillman in a feature on top bankruptcy and restructuring lawyers for his representation of Lucky Brand in its restructuring, and Sycamore Partners in the department-store chain Belk's prepackaged proceedings.
