Six Partners Again Named to Billboard’s Elite Top Music Lawyers List

Six Latham & Watkins partners have been named to Billboard’s 2024 Top Music Lawyers list: Sy Damle, Gabe Fleet, Andy Gass, Alli Stillman, Jonathan West, and Joe Wetzel. Billboard’s annual list honors “the savviest legal counselors throughout the music industry.” All six partners have appeared on this list for at least four consecutive years.

Billboard highlighted the firm’s work for an array of music companies including Live Nation, iHeartMedia, and Pandora Media as well as technology companies operating in the generative AI space. As Fleet explains in the group’s profile, dozens of clients are turning to Latham for “legal risk analysis surrounding new product launches, understanding the evolving public policy landscape, entering complex transactions related to generative AI offerings or defending copyright infringement lawsuits.”
