The National Law Journal
Stacey VanBelleghem is highlighted for her efforts in helping clients successfully navigate environmental law challenges.

The National Law Journal (NLJ) has featured Environment, Land & Resources partner Stacey VanBelleghem in its 2017 Washington, D.C. “Rising Stars” list. NLJ says that the honorees were selected based on “key elements including success on the highest stages, diversity of practice groups and law firms,” as well as recommendations from clients and colleagues.

VanBelleghem’s pioneering practice guides clients through the fast-paced and extensive environmental law challenges they face. In an interview with NLJ, she noted that “helping a client successfully navigate a complex environmental review process involving six federal agencies, two tribal governments, and at least six environmental statutes was a professional milestone.” VanBelleghem commented: “Success may look like a closed deal or a litigation win, but I learned early on that the outcome that achieves our client's strategic and business objectives may be a subtler victory.”
