The Hollywood Reporter Honors Entertainment, Sports & Media Partners As Top Dealmakers of 2022

Century City partners Kendall Johnson and Rick Offsay are among a select group of 45 executives, lawyers and other advisors honored by The Hollywood Reporter in its “Hollywood’s Top Dealmakers of 2022” report. The pair was called out for their role advising MGM in its acquisition by Amazon in March 2022.

Having worked with MGM for years, the Latham team was “particularly well suited,” to work on the deal, Johnson said in the published profile. Offsay added that the “deal unfolded at the height of the pandemic and was all done remotely on Zoom, presenting a novel challenge.”

The duo’s work on a range of other high-profile transactions was also highlighted, including advising Mediawan on its acquisition of a significant stake in Brad Pitt’s production company, Plan B.
