London Partner Chris Horton Named in The Lawyer’s Hot 100 2022

The Lawyer Magazine has recognized London corporate partner Chris Horton in its Hot 100 2022, an annual list of professionals celebrated for their legal excellence and relevance.

Horton was celebrated by The Lawyer for acting on “an unexpected barrage of cashbox placings at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic”, before he and his team “swiftly transitioned to some of the City’s most high-profile listings”. The publication praised Horton’s roles on the Made.com and Deliveroo IPOs, in addition to a “precedent-setting” deal for Hedosophia Group on the Euronext Amsterdam, which is now the template for European businesses wanting an IPO under a US SPAC Model. Horton’s recognition follows a strong year for Latham’s London capital markets team, who also advised on Wise’s direct listing – the first by a tech company on the LSE, the largest ever equity raise by a Scandinavian listed company – Tryg A/S, Darktrace’s IPO, and secondary offerings by TUI, Mitchells & Butlers, and others.
