Two London Partners Named in The Lawyer’s Hot 100 2024

The Lawyer Magazine has recognized London corporate partners Jennifer Engelhardt and Francesco Lione in its Hot 100 2024, an annual list of professionals celebrated for their legal excellence and relevance.

Engelhardt was praised for successfully closing a number of high-profile transactions amidst challenging market last year, including leading teams advising longstanding Norwegian client Vår Energi on its debut hybrid securities offering and representing EQT in multiple financing deals, including its £4.5 billion acquisition of vet pharma business Dechra. The Lawyer also highlighted Engelhardt’s longstanding contribution to developing next generation talent.

Lione was credited with shoring up “a variety of creative and innovative financing solutions for his clients, despite a subdued bond market” in 2023. The publication highlighted a number of noteworthy transactions on which Lione advised over the last 12 months, including advising Asda on the financing of its agreed acquisition of EG Group’s UK business for £2.27 billion and representing We Soda on its inaugural debt issuance, and also acknowledged his steadfast commitment to pro bono.
