Two New York Partners Named Notable Women in Law by Crain’s

Erika Weinberg and Jane Greyf recognized for their exceptional professional achievements and civic, philanthropic, and mentoring activities.

New York partners Erika Weinberg and Jane Greyf have been named to the Crain’s New York Business list of Notable Women in Law for 2021. The annual list recognizes women with distinguished careers who demonstrate exemplary leadership skills and a deep commitment to civic, philanthropic, and mentoring activities.

Erika Weinberg is a member of the firm’s Capital Markets Practice and focuses on corporate finance, general securities, and corporate matters. She has substantial experience representing both issuers and financial institutions in a wide variety of public and private financing transactions, including secured and unsecured high yield debt offerings, bridge lending and loan commitments, initial public offerings, public and private equity offerings, and various liability management transactions. Weinberg also serves as Co-Chair of Latham’s Women Enriching Business program in the New York office and previously served on the program’s Global Steering Committee.

Jane Greyf is a member of the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions Practice and advises private equity firms, their portfolio companies, and corporate clients in M&A deals and other complex transactions. She has particular experience representing leveraged buyout sponsors, venture capital funds, hedge funds, and other private equity investors and portfolio companies. Greyf’s work also encompasses fund restructurings and secondary transactions, as well as inbound investments into the United States by European and Asian funds. In addition, Greyf is deeply committed to honoring her Russian-Jewish heritage and devotes significant time to organizations that advance, support, and strengthen the broader Jewish community. She also serves on Latham’s Women Enriching Business committee.
